Engineering at Apostil

Forward Deployed Engineer, Integrations

Connect business systems and build operational actions that are traceable, recoverable and verifiable.

Apply for this role

Make the last mile work.

When a workflow calls for action, completion means confirming the intended change in the receiving system. Build the connections and durable execution that let Apostil act within agreed permissions, recover from interruption and verify the result against the workflow’s acceptance criteria.

What you’ll own

  • Map customer systems and build integrations using APIs, webhooks, authentication and scoped permissions.

  • Implement durable execution, retries and idempotent writes. Verify the resulting state in receiving systems and keep an inspectable action history.

  • Own integration testing, deployment and operational diagnostics so interrupted work can recover without duplicate actions.

What you’ll bring

  • Backend services or integrations you have delivered, including the practical details of authentication and data mapping.
  • An understanding of distributed-system failures, observability and how to make side effects safe to retry.
  • Clear communication with customer technical teams and willingness to investigate unfamiliar systems hands-on.

Bring your work to the conversation.

We’d like to see how you think and what you’ve made happen.
